Artificial social pattern intelligence: When the society, not the brain, is the thinking object

Emeritus Professor Magnus S Magnusson asks what artificial intelligence would look like if it were modelled not on networks of neurons but on networks of brains – the human T-societies that may be the most complex thinking objects in the known Universe. We are used to hearing that the human brain is the most complex object in the known Universe. But a modern mass society is a network of millions of such brains, continuously interacting, and is arguably an object of vastly greater complexity. Both are thinking objects. They differ by an organisational level – and so far, only one of them has been used as a model for artificial intelligence.
