Yanhua Bai, Chunsheng Zhu

Abstract

Objective

Blurred and low-quality social media images easily trigger visual fatigue and negative psychological pressure, leading to depressed mental states and affecting public daily mental health. This study explores the practical application of image super-resolution reconstruction technology in psychological and emotional enhancement, aiming to optimize visual perception, relieve subtle psychological pressure and improve users’ mental health experience in social interaction.

Subjects and Methods

This study selects ordinary social media users as research subjects. It adopts image reconstruction experiments and psychological evaluation methods to process low-definition social media images, record users’ perceived emotions, psychological pressure changes and mental state feedback, and verify the emotional regulation effect of the optimized images.

Results

Super-resolution reconstruction effectively optimizes the visual quality of social media images. High-definition visual presentation significantly alleviates users’ visual psychological pressure, eliminates negative emotional hints, improves tired mental states caused by poor image perception, and effectively enhances individual mental health and positive emotional experience.

Conclusions

Image super-resolution reconstruction has reliable psychological emotional enhancement value in social media scenarios. The technology can subtly relieve users’ visual psychological pressure, regulate negative mental states, promote positive psychological perception, and provide a new technical path for public mental health maintenance and emotional visual optimization.
