This appendix compares a passage on philosophical sects from Teofilakt Lopatynskyi’s course (1704–1706) with its Western sources, especially Pierre Barbay’s commentary on Aristotle. The comparison shows how Kyivan professors adapted Latin scholastic texts for their own teaching.
