Analytical Study of Complex Heat Transfer During Steady-State Natural Convection near a Vertical Surface

In this study we derived an analytical solution to the problem of radiation heat transfer under free convection near a vertical plate with a slip condition on its surface. While solving the problem, new equations for temperature and velocity profiles, boundary layer thickness, and Nusselt number were obtained. The obtained expressions make it possible to estimate the influence of slip and radiation effects on free convection, and to identify effects that favor heat transfer enhancement.
