Analysis of Clinical Efficacy of Pelvic Floor Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Pelvic Floor Muscle Training for Female Overactive Bladder
Langchi He, Lizhu ZhouObjective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of pelvic floor magnetic stimulation (PFMS) combined with pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) for female overactive bladder (OAB). Methods: Sixty female OAB patients were randomly divided into training group (PFMT alone, n=30) and combined group (PFMT+PFMS, n=30). All patients received 12 weeks of intervention. Clinical efficacy, OAB symptom score (OABSS), voiding diary parameters and urodynamic indices were compared. Results: The total effective rate was significantly higher in the combined group (P<0.05). After treatment, OABSS, 24-h voiding frequency, urgency incontinence episodes and nocturia frequency were all decreased, while first sensation bladder capacity, maximum cystometric capacity and bladder compliance were increased in both groups, with more significant improvements in the combined group (all P<0.05). Conclusion: PFMS combined with PFMT effectively alleviates symptoms, improves urodynamic function and enhances therapeutic efficacy in female OAB patients.
