Schwannomas, also known as neurilemmomas, are benign, encapsulated neoplasms originating from the Schwann cells of the peripheral nerve sheath. While ubiquitous, oral schwannomas are infrequent, accounting for approximately 1% of all head and neck schwannomas. Within the oral cavity, the tongue represents the most common anatomical location, yet it remains a rare clinical finding. We present the case of a 28-year-old male with a 3-month history of a slowly progressive, asymptomatic mass on the right posterior 1/3 rd of his tongue.
