An integrated lubricating and antibacterial hydrogel coating for the inner surface of medical catheters
Guofa Zhang, Qianqian Sun, Bing Li, Bo Wu, Wei Ding, Litao Wang, Mei LvHydrogel-iodine coating reaches 96.1% bactericidal efficiency, supports >80% viability of MC3T3-E1 cells, and shows a 33.7° water contact angle, presenting outstanding lubrication, antibacterial and hydrophilic performances.
