Abstract

Double inferior vena cava (DIVC) is a rare congenital anomaly of the venous system. It occurs due to the persistence of both supracardinal veins during embryological development. This anomaly is often asymptomatic and is typically identified incidentally during imaging procedures. This case report describes the incidental discovery of a DIVC in a 33-year-old male patient undergoing routine screening for chronic hepatitis B.
