This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state and forecasts the future development prospects of innovative forms of alternative financing, such as crowdfunding, crowdlending, crowdinvesting, ICO, STO, and others, taking into account the results of scientific research. To achieve this goal, the following objectives were set and achieved: to provide a detailed description of existing forms of alternative financing, their operating mechanisms, and target audiences; to examine the practical experience of companies using these forms in the Russian market and evaluate the results of such use; and to identify key factors influencing the development and success of innovative forms of alternative financing. The article’s originality lies in the development of substantiated conclusions about the future role of alternative financing, based on an analysis of publications and expert assessments. The theoretical and practical significance of this article lies in its systematization and deepening of understanding of modern capital raising mechanisms that extend beyond traditional bank lending and capital markets, as well as the development of a more comprehensive understanding of the theoretical aspects of crowdfunding, crowdlending, crowdinvesting, and new blockchain-based forms (ICO, STO). The results of the study include substantiated forecasts regarding the further growth, transformation, and integration of various forms of alternative finance and the identification of the most significant conditions for the successful development of alternative finance. The paper provides a detailed comparison of the fraud and investor protection risks associated with decentralized protocols compared to traditional crowdfunding platforms. It also assesses the impact of macroeconomic instability and sanctions restrictions on cross-border capital flows within the sector. It also proposes a classification of hybrid fintech service models that combine elements of real-asset tokenization and social microfinance. Practical recommendations are provided for government regulators and private venture capital funds on adapting business models to the new technological realities of the digital economy.
