Alleviation of lead toxicity and enhancement of wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.) yield and antioxidant capacity using silicon and humic acid amendments in contaminated soil

Study showed that Si amendments, particularly Ca silicate with humic acid, improved wheat yield while reducing the Pb accumulation in roots, shoots and grains by enhancing the antioxidant activities under Pb contaminated soil conditions.
