Agent model of confrontation between Russia and the West media frames influence on the image of the future among Russian Youth
A. Dombrovskaya, D. Voronin, E. BrodovskayaThe purpose of the article is to present the structure, purpose and heuristic possibilities of the agent–network model developed by the co-authors of the influence of media frames of the fundamental confrontation between Russia and the West on the image of the future among Russian youth. The methodology of the author's development is based on an agent-based network approach, which involves studying the impact of media frames of confrontation between the Russian Federation and the West on shaping the image of the future of Russian youth as a system of interaction between adaptive agents who influence the environment in response to the received impact, thereby forming emergent social patterns. The conceptual scheme of the proposed methodology is based on a combination of proactive management procedures, data mining technologies, media frame analysis techniques, and simulation modeling methods. The model presents the characteristics of the relationship between the agents of "Media Frames" and "Youth", and also shows the prospects for the inclusion of young Russians among the agents of state policy and the inner circle. The article operationalizes the image of the future of youth, the connection of its formation with the information immunity of young Russians and the characteristics of media frameworks of confrontation between Russia and the West. The established relationships are substantiated by data from factual studies, including the results of surveys, social media monitoring, and the results of projective cognitive science in the format of sand game modeling with the participation of Russian youth as subjects. The practical significance of the model may lie in the ability to identify the most likely risks of external information pressure on the formation and transformation of ideas about the current and future development of the country.
