Adaptive sports as a means of social rehabilitation for individuals with hearing impairments (using judo as an example)

Research methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific-methodological literature on the problem of social rehabilitation of individuals with hearing impairments by means of adaptive sports. Research results and conclusions. It was revealed that systematic adaptive judo training contributes to the formation of social activity, communicative confidence, and positive social identity in individuals with hearing impairments. Adaptive sports, in particular judo, are an effective means of social rehabilitation for individuals with hearing impairments. The materials of the article can be used in the development of adaptive physical education and sports training programs.
