Activatable ¹⁹ F NMR probes from drug scaffolds for assessing myeloperoxidase-associated inflammation

In this work, we constructed 14 nitrone-derived ¹⁹ F NMR probes for HClO detection, among which 19FP-10 proved capable of reliably quantifying HClO in septic mouse plasma and distinguishing inflamed from normal brain tissue.
