A VISUALIZED MODEL OF THE THERMAL CHARACTERISTICS OF A CONTAINER GREENHOUSE

Aleksandr Semenov

The paper describes an algorithm for creating a visualized mathematical model of the thermal characteristics of a container greenhouse. The model determines how changes in one or several parameters characterizing the design object (greenhouse overall dimensions, thermal insulation properties, air temperature and humidity prescribed by the growing technology) or the intended operating location (ambient temperature range) affect the amount of heat required to raise the air temperature in the greenhouse to the target value and the change in heat losses due to the temperature difference. The model is constructed from a set of subsystems consisting of elementary elements that perform a single action, which is convenient when modeling is carried out by an operator who is well versed in the operational features of the technological equipment and growing technology but is not engaged in training complex mathematical models. The visualized model allows the necessary characteristics and dependencies to be determined using simple block diagrams located in separate subsystems. The output of the visualized mathematical model of the thermal characteristics of a container greenhouse is presented either as analytical data for use in subsequent calculations or as graphical plots showing changes in the selected quantities.
