A systems-analytical approach to the procurement of raw materials for industrial enterprises, in the face of the risk
Konstantin Portnov, Ekaterina PanyukovaThis paper explores approaches to analyzing and improving the raw material procurement system at an industrial enterprise in an unstable external environment. The significance of this problem for the modern economy is emphasized, as fluctuations in raw material markets, changes in tax and customs regulations, and the unpredictability of production and market factors create significant risks for the smooth functioning of the enterprise. The main objective of the study is to develop a methodological apparatus and information tools for forecasting raw material price dynamics and making informed management decisions in the area of procurement. The paper proposes models focused on assessing resource requirements, inventory management, and taking into account uncertainty factors when formulating a procurement policy. Particular attention is paid to a systems approach that ensures the alignment of procurement goals with the overall production objectives of the enterprise. The practical value of the results lies in their potential use to improve the reliability of material supply, reduce the likelihood of supply disruptions, and optimize overall costs. The findings and recommendations can be applied to improving procurement management procedures at industrial enterprises operating in volatile market conditions.
