Background Standardized visual stimuli are widely used in research on social perception and first impression formation, but available stimulus sets predominantly consist of static facial images. We present a dataset of standardized audio-visual recordings designed to provide static, dynamic, and acoustic information from full-body recordings of adult women and men. Methods The dataset contains recordings from 120 participants (59 women and 61 men; aged 18–40 years) recruited in the Czech Republic. Participants wore standardized sportswear and were recorded under controlled lighting, camera, background, and audio conditions while standing, walking, turning, and speaking a standardized sentence. We acquired video at 6 K resolution and then color-calibrated, cropped, and exported it as stimuli with faces obscured in 4 K, 24 fps, and Rec.709 color space. Audio was recorded separately into uncompressed WAV files. Separate files contain the standing, walking/turning, and speaking recordings and audio sequences. Conclusions The dataset provides standardized audio-visual stimuli for reuse in research on person perception and first impressions, including studies of bodily appearance, movement, voice, attractiveness, and physical-fitness perception. We provide detailed acquisition and processing information to facilitate reproducibility and reuse. The stimuli are publicly available on Zenodo and can be linked to separately reported anthropometric and physical fitness data.
