A New Record of Pseudopyrenula (Lichenized Ascomycota) From India

The present study reports Pseudopyrenula endoxanthoides Vain. in India for the first time. The species is characterized by a hamathecium densely inspersed with yellow oil droplets, K+ pale pink to purplish, and 3‐septate ascospores with diamond‐shaped lumina. A detailed description and illustrations are provided to facilitate its identification.
