The US FDA approval of multiple LNP‑based drug products catalyzed multiple clinical studies across disease indications covering various RNA modalities. However, the stability of LNPs has been a long‑lasting challenge. This Viewpoint article talks about reported observations of RNA‑LNP instability, methods to quantify, and ways to improve the drug product profile.
