A local action plan that considers giftedness, talent, and inclusive education: a school for all
Johanna LundqvistThis chapter describes a one-year collaborative project concentrated on giftedness, talent, and inclusive education. It was conducted in a school in central Sweden and started out from the needs of that school. The purpose was to co-produce a local action plan. The project started with six dialogue seminars. The student health team at the school participated and these dialogue seminars resulted in a draft. The implementation of the project also included eight dialogue seminars with teachers at the school. Each and every dialogue seminar group read the action plan draft out loud, pen in hand. Positive and negative reactions to the form and content of the draft were used to revise the draft. The researcher and the student health team decided on a final form and a final content. It is presented in this chapter and can provide support for principals, student health teams, and teachers, or others.
