A HISTORIOLOGICAL REVIEW OF MENTORING IN RUSSIA

Alexander Shanin, Alexey Zilberman

. In modern Russia, the revival and development of mentoring activities is a national task, which is confirmed by the Decrees and instructions of the President of Russia. The mentoring mechanism depends on the specifics of the professional field, but it must have general invariant characteristics that have not yet been defined, which is the reason for the lack of a unified federal definition of mentoring. Under these conditions, the development of the regulatory framework for mentoring occurs differentially by industry and department, and the regulation of mentoring continues to be carried out through industry and local regulations. The Institute of mentoring has been accompanying humanity for a long time and helping to cope with socially significant issues. The present study aims to analyze the historical, anthropological and socio-cultural roots reflecting the historical aspect of the development of mentoring in order to form a modern approach to the organization of mentoring in Russia.
