Abstract

The rapid growth of scientific literature poses a challenge for researchers to keep up with new findings. Open interactive maps provide an option for the localization of scientific activities. They do not require paid large language model-based tools or prior knowledge about the topic of interest, and can be commonly developed. This work presents a framework for the interactive and comprehensible mapping of scientific activities that can be adapted to diverse application areas. Its usage is exemplarily shown in the field of medical spectral imaging.
