A fast method for AI-based voltage drop forecast of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells

For the first time, an AI-based model is validated for a high-energy LFP battery cell for low temperature operation. The voltage drop is broadly predicted with high accuracy, compared to a basic model. The MAE is reduced by at least 70% at −25 °C.
