Financial disputes constitute the primary source of conflict in construction projects, but current Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms fail to integrate dynamic financial data into schedule analysis. This study presents a Financial Digital Twin framework designed to automate the assessment of Extensions of Time (EOT) triggered by payment defaults. Moving beyond subjective surveys, the methodology encodes the deterministic logic of Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and regulatory circulars into a computational engine. The system applies a custom C# plugin that embeds a financial fragnet into the 5D BIM environment as geometric scheduling constraints. A steel structure building case study illustrates the framework by converting financial payment latency into automated schedule impacts. This approach reduces processing time by over 99%. Consequently, the system advances construction claim management from a reactive process to a proactive model of financial risk visualization and real time decision support.
