Background: Psoriasis is a multisystem disease of unknown origin and is universal in occurrence. The chronic inammatory nature in psoriasis is thought to predispose the patients to other diseases with inammatory component, like cardiovascular and metabolic disorders including diabetes mellitus. This study attempts to study the correlation between Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI) and Fasting blood sugar (FBS). Methods:This was a cross-sectional study conducted in the Department of Dermatology at a tertiary care centre in central India. Patients of Psoriasis attending the outpatient department were enrolled in the study and examined after taking informed consent. Result and conclusion: There was signicant positive correlation between PASI and FBS.
