This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the top 50 publications on Rasayana, focusing on their Altmetric Attention Scores (AAS) as a measure of the digital and societal impact. A search on Dimension AI identified 1386 publications, from which the top 50 publications based on AAS were selected, spanning from 1999 to 2023. Predominantly from India, these publications were distributed across 32 journals, with the leading one being “Journal of Ethnopharmacology”. The research covered diverse topics, including clinical trials, molecular studies, and reviews, highlighting Rasayanas’ therapeutic properties in anti-aging, mental health, and immune modulation. Ashwagandha was mentioned prominently, with studies emphasizing its efficacy in insomnia, anxiety, and physical performance. High AAS values correlated with substantial number of citations, indicating widespread academic and public interest. This analysis underscores the increasing prominence of Rasayanas in medical research and their potential in promoting health and wellness.
