The aim of this study was to compare the efcacy of intravenous clonidine 1μg/kg and intravenous magnesium sulfate 30 mg/kg in attenuation of hemodynamic response to intubation and pneumoperitoneum in intraoperative period in laparoscopy cholecystectomy patients in terms of: 1. Systolic Blood pressure 2. Diastolic blood pressure 3. Mean arterial blood pressure 4. Heart rate .The secondary objective was to observe recovery parameters such as postoperative pain, level of sedation and any adverse effects.
