Alopecia areata (AA) is manifested as the loss of hair in well-circumscribed patches of normal-appearing skin, most commonly on the scalp. In modern medicine, treatment primarily involves the use of corticosteroids. In contrast, homeopathy offers a more effective response by considering the totality of symptoms and selection of a remedy thereof. A 57-year-old man presented with complaints of patchy hair loss from the scalp along with constipation and headache. The case was treated successfully with Bacillinum 200 CH with repetition as per requirement. Over approximately 4 months of homeopathic treatment, the patient continued to improve and was symptom-free by the time of his final follow-up visit. This improvement was also supported by photographic evidence, highlighting the potential positive impact of individualized homeopathic care in a case of AA. However, further research and well-designed clinical trials are needed to confirm the effectiveness of homeopathy in such cases.
