Chandan Sinha, Surjeet Dwivedi

ABSTRACT

This case report highlights a case of fulminant scrotal swelling extending up to the umbilicus in the anterior abdominal wall with features of multiorgan dysfunction. This patient presented to our center with swelling and a fever of one-week duration. A vigorous resuscitation was carried out in this patient followed by early surgical intervention and subsequent management by repeat surgeries and delayed reconstruction by thigh flaps and split skin grafting. The early diagnosis of Fournier followed by resuscitation and early surgical intervention helps in good outcome.
