Abstract

Commonest cause of morbidity after esophagectomy is pulmonary. Tracheobronchial devascularization during surgery contributes to this morbidity and can potentially lead to mortality. This video shows that left bronchial arteries can be preserved like the right ones in an attempt to aid rapid recovery of patients.
