18F-FDG PET/CT Imaging of Multiple Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumors

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor involving multiple parts of the body simultaneously is extremely rare. Here, we present FDG PET/CT findings of multiple inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors in a patient. ¹⁸ F-FDG PET/CT showed intense ¹⁸ F-FDG uptake in the liver and abdominal cavity. Finally, the diagnosis of multiple inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors was confirmed by pathologic examination.
