17‐4: Quantifying Surface Quality due to Periodic Linear Waviness of a Rollable Display

Rollable display has a characteristic feature in assessing surface quality which is caused by a periodic supporter structure. In the presence of such periodic deformation, we suggest a method to quantify them and verified a correlation with human recognition by performing a cognitive experiment. Our method can be utilized in assessing the surface quality including any linear and periodic component.
