Summary

Allium kollmannianum is a small, late‐spring to early‐summer blooming Allium , endemic to the Negev Desert in south Israel, and previously thought to be extremely rare and critically endangered. Here we expand new information regarding its distribution and habitat in the Negev Desert, and a new estimation of its threat level, considering the new findings, together with a new taxonomic consideration of its subgeneric placement within Allium .
