10‐1: Resolution Evaluation Using MTF for A High‐Definition Floating Display

In this paper, we propose a high‐definition floating display that places the proprietary design mirrors in a folding arrangement. There has been no uniform standard for evaluating floating displays. Therefore, we constructed an experimental environment matched to floating displays, and performed the evaluation using the Modulation Transfer Function, which is one of the indexes for evaluating lens performance. The evaluation result has shown that the proposed system achieved the floating display with almost the same resolution as the light source. It also has shown higher resolution than the conventional systems.
