跨文化适配视域下经典文学译本在英语教学中的调适应用探析(An Analysis of the Adaptive Application of Classic Literary Translations in English Teaching from the Perspective of Cross-cultural Adaptation)

Abstract:Classic literary translations can provide both language input and cultural input for English teaching. However, students may face barriers caused by linguistic difficulty, historical distance, and cultural difference. From the perspective of cross-cultural adaptation, this paper discusses the value, challenges, and classroom application of classic literary translations in English teaching. It argues that teachers should adapt translations at the levels of language, culture, tasks, and media while preserving literary flavor and cultural meaning. Through comparative reading, bilingual analysis, and reader-response activities, students can better understand literary texts and develop intercultural awareness.
