Abstract: The gut microbiota, as a core component of the human micro-ecosystem, plays a critical role in regulating physiologicalfunctions and maintaining psychological balance, thereby significantly influencing both physical and mental health. Disruption of thegut microbiota can interfere with the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway, which is closely associated with theregulation of nutrient metabolism and cell growth. Such disruptions may contribute to the development of aging-related diseases, in-cluding neurological disorders, kidney diseases, fatty liver disease, and diabetes, ultimately influencing the aging process. This paperanalyzes the mechanism by which gut microbiota metabolites activate inflammatory pathways in the development and progression ofaging-related diseases, aiming to provide insights for the prevention and treatment of such conditions.
