Abstract：Objective To evaluate the nursing efficacy of acupoint application combined with traditional Chinese medicine plaster application in alleviating symptoms in patients with chronic pelvic inflammation. Methods A total of 70 patients with chronic pelvic inflammation from January 2025 to January 2026 were enrolled as study subjects and divided into a control group (receiving conventional anti-infective therapy and standard nursing care) and an observation group (receiving acupoint application combined with traditional Chinese medicine plaster application in addition to the control group), with 35 cases in each group. The therapeutic effects were compared. Results The observation group demonstrated higher quality-of-life scores than the control group (P <0.05). The improvement rate in the control group was significantly lower than that in the observation group (P <0.05). The observation group showed lower scores for abnormal vaginal discharge, lumbosacral pain, menstrual disorders, and abnormal vaginal discharge compared to the control group (P <0.05). Additionally, the observation group reported higher nursing satisfaction than the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The combination of acupoint application and traditional Chinese medicine plaster application effectively alleviates symptoms in patients with chronic pelvic inflammation and improves their quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
