新能源发电中的电气保护与故障诊断技术研究(Research on Electrical Protection and Fault Diagnosis Technology in New Energy Power Generation)

Abstract: The global energy structure has turned to clean and low-carbon, the proportion of new energy power generation in the power system continues to rise, and distributed energy such as wind energy and solar energy is intermittent and volatile, which makes the traditional electrical protection devices suffer from problems such as decreased sensitivity, selective failure, and difficulty in fault location. Most of the existing protection schemes use fixed thresholds and single criteria, which can not adapt to the complex working conditions of dynamic changes in the topology of new energy stations and weakening of fault current characteristics, so that protection misoperation or failure to operate frequently, seriously threatening the safe and stable operation of the power grid. In this paper, a technical framework of electrical protection and fault diagnosis based on multi-source information and adaptive criteria is proposed. The framework first analyzes the characteristics of transient electrical quantities of new energy generation units under different operation modes, and finds out the deep reasons for the failure of traditional protection.
