Abstract:Objective To address common issues in nursing clinical teaching at county-level teaching hospitals, including insufficient faculty, subjective evaluation, and delayed feedback, and to explore a lightweight artificial intelligence (AI) empowerment approach based on a general collaborative office platform (DingTalk), verifying its practical effectiveness in improving teaching quality and efficiency. Methods Using Dongping County People’s Hospital in Shandong Province as the research site, a closed-loop teaching model based on DingTalk software was established, integrating data collection, multi-dimensional analysis, precise feedback, and continuous improvement. Forty nursing students were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group (using the AI-empowered model) and a control group (using traditional teaching methods) for a 6-month comparative study. Intervention effects were comprehensively evaluated based on theoretical examinations, Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE), and satisfaction questionnaires. Results After intervention, the experimental group’s theoretical examination score (85.45±2.12 points) was significantly higher than that of the control group (74.20±1.68 points) (P<0.05); the total OSCE score of the experimental group (92.76±1.28 points) was also significantly higher than that of the control group (80.05±1.64 points) (P<0.05), and the experimental group outperformed the control group in five operational items including intravenous infusion and aseptic technique (P<0.05). Satisfaction analysis showed that the experimental group students’Likert scores for teaching clarity, feedback timeliness, and feedback specificity (4.55–4.80 points) were all significantly higher than those of the control group (3.30–3.90 points) (P <0.05). Conclusion The lightweight AI empowerment approach based on the DingTalk platform can effectively resolve resource constraints in nursing teaching at county-level hospitals. significantly improve teaching efficiency and students’practical skills, and provide a replicable and easily promotable practical pathway for the digital transformation of grassroots nursing education.
