The Shubnikov–de Haas effect in Sb1–xBix alloys (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25)
D. V. Gitsu, F. M. Muntyanu, M. I. OnuThe Shubnikov–de Haas effect was studied in Sb1–xBix alloys (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25) in stationary magnetic fields of up to 175 kOe. The cyclotron mass, Fermi energy, Dingle temperature, and carrier concentration are estimated. The cross-sectional areas of the Fermi surfaces of electrons and holes were observed to vary linearly with an increase in the bismuth concentration in the alloys.
