The magnetoresistivity of films with arbitrary angular dependence of the specular reflectivity

General equations are obtained for the magnetoconductance of a conducting film for an arbitrary angular dependence of the spectral reflectivity q(Φ). The relaxation-time approximation is used, which is justified for extremely thin films. Three magnetic-field orientations with respect to the film surface and the direction of the electric field are examined. Asymptotic equations are obtained for weak magnetic fields and the possibility is indicated of determining the angular dependence q(Φ) from resistivity measurements in the region of weak magnetic fields.
