Sub‐Quantum Physics and the Proton Mass

J. E. Horvath

ABSTRACT

A sub‐quantum level of elementarity, pictured as a generic thermal bath, can induce fluctuations in several measured quantities. We discuss the possible effect of the proton mass, and the connection of these fluctuations with quark states inside the proton. The quest for a substructure below quarks can be explored this way, opening a new window to the micro‐world beyond the Standard Model description.
