Psychiatric manifestations of fahr’s syndrome: Case series

ABSTRACT

Fahr’s syndrome is a rare disease with various signs and symptoms, and it is characterized by bilateral basal ganglionic calcification. It can present with neuropsychiatric, extrapyramidal, and cerebellar symptoms. Two cases of Fahr’s syndrome with varied clinical presentations have been reported in this article. Our aim is to highlight the importance of varied presentations of the neurological syndrome and the importance of ruling out the medical causes in them who presented with behavioral symptoms primarily.
