Light-induced degradation of methylammonium tin iodide absorber layers

An Sn-based perovskite was synthesized with no detectable Sn(+4). Upon illumination in vacuum for 61 h, it was shown that SnI₂ is formed at the surface of the absorber with traces of Sn(0) and no Sn(+4).
