Isolating the ring-redox states of boron sub-phthalocyanines

LeznoffThe first structurally characterized ring-reduced and oxidized boron subphthalocyanines include a doubly-reduced trinuclear cluster and ring-oxidized [subPcBF]+. UV-vis absorption spectra and TD-DFT calculations indicate the ring-oxidation state.
