Implementation of documents of the International Organization for Standardization in the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the problems of the status of documents of the International Organization for Standardization in Russia. The author explores the role of various government bodies in the implementation of ISO rules in the Russian Federation. The forms and methods of implementing ISO documents into the legal order of the Russian Federation are characterized. The legal mechanism for the implementation of ISO Standards is studied in detail. The author demonstrated the direct regulation of intrastate relations by ISO documents, identified the main problems and trends. The conclusion about the direct effect of ISO acts in the Russian Federation is substantiated.
