The authors present surgical treatment of a patient with giant popliteal artery aneurysm. Popliteal artery aneurysm is the most common location of aneurysms (about 70%). Giant popliteal artery aneurysm is rare (>7—8 cm). Giant aneurysms are of great clinical importance due to high risk of rupture and other complications. In addition, these aneurysms require specific surgical treatment. The chosen surgical tactics provided effective prevention of limb ischemia.
