Effect of piperidine intercalation on nuclear quadrupole resonance in Pbl2

The nuclear quadrupole resonance frequency and spin-lattice relaxation time have been measured as functions of the temperature in PbI2 with piperidine intercalations. Proceeding from the experimental results and earlier data for PbI2, we come to the conclusion that the spin-phonon interaction diminishes with intercalation but retains some features inherent to quasi-two-dimensional systems.
