Amorphous cobalt hollow nanospheres, with high concentration of surficial active sites and Co–N sites, are derived from pyrolising cobalt adeninate metal−organic framework, Bio‐MOF‐11, to access bioactive quinazolinone scaffolds and aromatic amines. Modulated electron states of the amorphous cobalt and the high‐density Co–N active sites enhance the intrinsic catalytic activity.
